MRP hotels continues its current course of growth
In January 2014, MRP hotels continued its expansion. In addition to our office in Vienna and our office in Berlin which opened last year, we continue our current course of growth in the D/A/CH region with a new office opening in Luzern. On board as partners of MRP hotels Switzerland are Fred Hürst and Rolf Brönnimann.
Fred Hürst, who will mainly be responsible for the development of the business, has designed, established and characterised the Hyatt hotels in Central Europe as Area Vice President in the last three decades. There are three in Germany alone: Hyatt Regency, Park Hyatt and Grand Hyatt. The German hotel industry named him “Hotelier of the Year” for his outstanding achievements.
Previously, he worked for InterContinental Hotels and Mövenpick, where he began his international hotel management career. It’s worth mentioning that his gastronomy stint resulted in an innovative and successful restaurant concept by launching, establishing and managing the Mövenpick Marché operations in Switzerland.
Furthermore, representatives of Centrycon – an international trading company – as well as the renowned hotel consultant and, for many decades, successful hotel manager Rolf E. Brönnimann will also join the governing board at our office in Switzerland.
We are also pleased to inform you that we have become a member of the International Society of Hospitality Consultants (www.ishc.com) and that Herbert Mascha is a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors as of 2014-0101. Thus, our work officially bears the RICS seal (www.rics.org).
