An owner-operator vehicle is a business structure in which the owner of a property is also its operator. In the hotel industry, this means that a hotel investor not only owns the property but also manages the operational business themselves, rather than outsourcing it to an external hotel chain or management partner. This structure offers the advantage that the owner has full control over the business model, brand concept, and operational strategy. At the same time, however, they also bear the entrepreneurial risk and are responsible for the entire operation, profitability, and guest experience.
