Renewable Energy Source

The term ‘renewable energy source’ refers to energy sources that are not based on fossil fuels and are derived from renewable sources. These include, in particular, wind, solar (solar thermal and photovoltaic), geothermal energy, ambient energy, tidal, wave and other marine energy, hydropower, and energy obtained from biomass, landfill gas, sewage gas and biogas.
