CO2 Offsetting

Carbon offsetting is a mechanism whereby a company or individual offsets by purchasing carbon credits or financing projects that reduce or avoid CO2 emissions. This process is part of carbon neutrality and carbon footprint reduction strategies. It is intended to help reduce the net CO2 emissions of a company or individual to zero and thus make a positive contribution to climate protection.
