The EU taxonomy represents a classification system that contains a list of environmentally sustainable economic activities, but does not provide for the categorization of socially sustainable activities. A <a class=\"glossaryLink\" aria-describedby=\"tt\" data-cmtooltip=\"&lt;div class=glossaryItemTitle&gt;Sustainable Investment&lt;\/div&gt;&lt;div class=glossaryItemBody&gt;&amp;lt;!-- wp:paragraph --&amp;gt;\n&amp;lt;p&amp;gt;Sustainable investment refers to an investment strategy that takes into account not only financial indicators but also environmental, social, and ethical criteria (ESG criteria: environmental, social, governance). The aim is to make economically successful long-term investments that also make a positive contribution to the environment and society. In the hotel and real estate industry, this means, for example, promoting energy-efficient buildings, social responsibility in corporate management, or investing in projects with sustainable value creation.
